Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:


As an Ecommerce Operations Analyst, you will spearhead various operational initiatives to drive efficiency and enhance guest satisfaction across our online sales channels. Your role involves conducting in-depth analysis, forecasting operational needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless ecommerce business operations, especially during key events like Cyber Week. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing processes, monitoring inventory accuracy, and implementing improvements based on guest feedback. Your efforts will directly contribute to the success of our ecommerce operations and elevate the overall guest experience.

 

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada. 


Meet Your Future Team:


The Digital Commerce team is responsible for developing our eCommerce channel and all consumer-facing digital touchpoints for Arc’teryx. It is a high-performing team responsible for direct-to-consumer eCommerce (strategy and operations), Digital Marketing (CRM and paid), Digital Analytics, Digital User Experience, Digital Merchandising and Digital Product Content. The team works closely with many other teams including Brand, Sustainability and Operations.

If you were in the Ecommerce Operations Analyst role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Conducting scenario analysis for Cyber Week and other promotional offers and assisting the Ecommerce Operations Manager in preparing for Cyber Week
  • Assisting ecommerce team in forecasting operational units for peak season to ensure smooth execution for the distribution centers
  • Performing ad hoc analysis for reseller activity to identify trends and impacts on the business, Monitoring and resolving discrepancies between S4 and our Warehouse Management Systems to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Enhancing non-EU countries’ reporting processes for returns to streamline operations and improve efficiency Gathering and analyzing guest feedback to improve overall packaging and shipping experience, incorporating suggestions to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Collaborating with Operations team to enhance daily reporting from the Distribution Centers (DC) to tailor to Ecommerce requirements
  • Generating and analyzing fulfillment rate reports to monitor and optimize order fulfillment processes across all fulfillment channels
  • Supporting the introduction of new fulfillments sources and strategies as Arc'teryx scales and grows on a global platform
  • Investigating and implementing packaging improvements based on guest feedback, exploring processes in China and APAC

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Developing a dashboard for Distribution Centers (DCs) for Cyber Week
  • Analyzing the impact of marketing campaigns on operations, including their effectiveness in attracting and converting guests
  • Providing support for donation at checkout initiatives and the implementation of shipping option enhancements
  • Collaborating with Transportation team to generate carrier reporting for monitoring and analyzing opportunities for improvement
  • Developing reporting using Narvar's "Monitor" tool and monthly carrier rating report to track guest satisfaction and service level agreements

Are you our next Ecommerce Operations Analyst?

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field
  • You have 3+ years of direct experience in Ecommerce and data analytics, plus relevant DTC experience
  • You have strong independent analytical skills that help drive business decisions, with an eye for data visualization
  • You have experience with Adobe Analytics, SAP reporting, and other Analytical skills such as Python, R, SQL. Formal training in this area would be an asset
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with a strong focus in Excel
  • You are passionate about data, and look to offer relevant data driven learnings to others in the company to improve on our operations
  • You are always thinking in the shoes of our Guests, with their experience as top priority
  • You are always thinking of Arc’teryx in a global, sustainable fashion; finding initiatives that work both globally and for the long term
  • You are innovative and creative, with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving
  • You have experience in the outdoor industry or with technical outerwear or apparel
  • You are a strong communicator who can work with cross functional teams from other channels of the business
  • You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
