What You Will Do
Disney Experiences (DX) is a world-class entertainment and technology leader. Walt's passion was to innovate continuously and push boundaries of what is possible, a passion that remains central in our business today. A Senior Software Engineer in this group will help guide the creation, installation, and support for systems in our attractions. You will develop or update several next-generation proprietary Disney software packages. We work closely with internal partners to deliver world-class guest experiences with interactive systems across Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Lines. You will report to Team Lead, Platform / Attractions Systems.
Basic Qualifications/You Will Have

• Next.JS on React
• Javascript/Typescript
• C#
• Java

• Experience with GCP or other cloud provider.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life cycle and QA processes.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Software Design Patterns.
• Experience with revision control software, such as GitHub and GitLab.
• Understanding of Kubernetes, Docker and Kafka.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of building RESTful or GraphQL APIs and Service-Oriented Architecture.
• Experience with microservices.
• Experience in cloud deployment in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
• Experience with Atlassian Tools such as Jira & Confluence.
• Experience with Agile development methods.
• Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous development.

Required Education

• Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical background

Preferred Education

• Master of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical background

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
