How you’ll make an impact

What you'll own

Define and own parts of product architecture to deliver excellent user experiences
Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web and mobile applications
Collaborate with product managers, designers and backend engineers
Communicate effectively with cross-team stakeholders and leadership
Produce highly reliable and performant code with appropriate monitoring and alerting
Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
Implement high-quality testable components, along with devtest frameworks as needed

Experience to bring with you

B. Tech/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred
3+ years of experience in Javascript frameworks such as React, React Native or AngularJS, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures
HTML/CSS experience, including concepts like layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility
Experience with browser APIs and optimizing front end performance

As product manager, Alexis Rochat feels like he’s traveling hundreds of miles per hour — no pun intended. “This isn’t a typical product organization,” he said. “No two days are the same, and although intense, they are incredibly rewarding.” In his role, Rochat strives to champion users and bring a consumer-grade product to the corporate travel space, from searching and booking to post-booking management. “Feedback is never in short supply, and balancing it is one of my greatest challenges,” he added. “We’re turning the trillion-dollar travel industry on its head — but therein lies the thrill!”

Jess Earle may not be a pilot, but at Spotnana, she strategically helps guide the company’s growth. “We talk a lot about how we’re building the plane while we’re flying it, and doing this requires vigilant coordination,” she said. As chief of staff, Earle is all about facilitation and hyper-collaboration — which means leveraging her coworker's talents and ensuring they have the context, tools, support and structure to thrive. “I spend much of my time figuring out where people are blocked, brainstorming solutions, briefing leadership and then coming back down the chain with a path forward.”

Spotnana's 401(k) plan offers a choice of a traditional pre-tax or Roth 401(k). Spotters can defer a percentage of your salary to the saving. 401(k) plans are provided by Fidelity.

401(K) matching

Spotnana matches 100% of your 401(k) contribution, up to the first 3% deferred, plus a 50% match of the next 2% deferred. That means in 2023, Spotters are be eligible for a total match of up to 4%.
