The Role:
SailPoint has reimagined support for client success with the Customer Success Delivery Portfolio, offering a comprehensive complement to SailPoint's SaaS solutions. These bundles combine education, support, expert guidance, and community engagement into a single package supported by the identity experts at SailPoint you know and trust. Designed to meet the needs of clients with varying degrees of program maturity, use case complexity, support demands, and budget constraints, we have three levels of assistance to drive value and success at every stage of the customers SailPoint journey. This role will primarily focus on the Customer Success Delivery model.

What You'll Do:
Customer Success Delivery Portfolio Consultants at SailPoint begin with product training where they can leverage their education and experience to gain a deep understanding of our SaaS and/or Software solutions. Within a month or two, the expectation is that you will be ready to begin interacting with customers and be able to handle various calls, meetings and have the ability to be self-sufficient in setting up the base infrastructure required for Identity Security Cloud . You will continue to work as part of the Customer Success Delivery team but will largely operate independently, providing best practices to customers through working sessions and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:

  • Working with customers on the installation, integration, and on-going advisory aspects of SailPoint software and/or SaaS solutions.
  • Communicating to clients and partners aspects of both the solution and the implementation at the technical and functional level.
  • Running Architecture sessions for customers to provide Best Practice recommendations and align business processes to product capabilities.
  • Working with the SailPoint Identity Security Cloud solutions to connect various customer systems and provide guidance for customers to move forward
  • Run feature adoption workshops to understand where the customer is on their Identity journey with SailPoint. During these workshops, you will provide recommendations on what to tackle next based on program maturity and the priorities of the customer.
  • Delivering technical enablement to help educate SailPoint customers and implementation partners.
  • Building rules for customers and evaluating rules built by customers.


Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of professional work experience as part of a technology company with at least 1 year of customer facing experience
  • Experience working with IT SaaS solutions is preferred, however not mandatory.
  • Experience setting up and installing software on both Windows and Linux platforms
  • Database Knowledge in one or more of the following: Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL
  • Experience with enterprise directories such as Microsoft Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, LDAP, etc
  • Familiarity with networking principles: SSL/TLS/HTTPS, Certificate Management, Basic TCP/IP troubleshooting
  • Experience reading and writing any of the following programming languages: Java, BeanShell/JavaScript/TypeScript, JSP/Servlets, Linux/Unix, SQL, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, C#, C++.


Preferred:

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Familiarity with any of the following web technologies: SPML/SOAP, Web and Application Servers, RESTFull APIs
  • Experience working with a project team that has deadlines and regular internal team and customer meetings
  • Familiarity with quality assurance duties (usability testing, performance testing, automated testing, test scripts, test cases and test plans)
  • Security software or IT audit experience would be ideal


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Computer Science or Engineering degree a plus), preferred, not required
  • J2EE certification is a plus
  • SailPoint Certified Engineer is a plus and is expected within 12 months of hire


Travel:

  • This position may require up to 15% travel
