Your Impact 

Reporting to the project's Chief of Party (COP), the Employer Relations Manager works closely with the team (especially the COP, Deputy COP, and VP of Employer Partnerships) to support program implementation and the transition of participants from training and professional development to job placement. They lead and oversee the direct implementation of the job placement activities. The Employer Relations Manager develops and maintains relations with potential employers and provides contact information to the team, including number of positions available, skills and experience required for open positions, and employment trends. They serve as the liaison between potential employers and the program.

The ideal candidate has a passion for supporting others' professional growth, a track record of executing successful programs, and the ability to adapt to evolving job market dynamics while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The Employer Relations Manager is expected to have strong leadership skills, an ability to provide guidance, feedback to team members, and excellent project management skills to oversee the execution of multiple workflows simultaneously.

Your Expertise

  • 7+ post-graduate full-time practical experience and proven track record in leading and managing large projects/programs, ideally in the development or education sectors
  • BA degree preferred; Master’s degree a plus
  • Demonstrated in-depth understanding of of women’s and youth economic empowerment issues in Jordan and the MENA region
  • Understanding of trends in the tech labor market, especially in the MENA region
  • Experience in a supervisory role managing projects in developing countries
  • Excellent English and Arabic verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Passionate about employment outcomes and the success of both learners and hiring employers
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Slack, and Zoom
  • Ability to hold self and others accountable for high standards of performance

Where You Are

  • This role is hybrid and is for candidates based in Jordan. Working hours should be compatible with Jordan's timezone and overlap with the Eastern Time time zone.

The compensation range for this position is specific to location and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. These factors include (but are not limited to) location, experience, education and skill sets. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $72,000 - $76,000. Please note that the shared range is specific to Jordan. The range only reflects the base salary and does not reflect bonus, equity or benefits.
