The Enterprise Learning Team implements core, learning programs and experiences to support key talent strategies and processes. King's Hawaiian is on a transformation journey that includes implementing, enhancing, and sustaining targeted learning technologies and experiences. These experiences will positively impact how our ohana learns, develops, and grows at King's Hawaiian.
This role leads the learning design and delivery teams and acts as a liaison between the stakeholders, people team, vendors, and our people to prioritize design and delivery, incubate and drive learning projects. The Enterprise Learning Leader has responsibility providing project and program management along with the operational oversight of planning, design and development of learning programs and experiences with a focus on providing exceptional people experiences, quality delivery, and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensures design, development and execution following with sustainment of Enterprise Learning Strategy by developing and delivering content that is aligned with the Enterprise Strategic Plan for Leadership Development.
  • Leads and participates in the design, implementation, and evaluation of critical talent technologies, curriculum, and learning experiences.
  • Manages design and development resources in accordance with prioritized initiatives sharing delivery timelines with the organization.
  • Partners with internal communications to market learning opportunities to the organization to gain program adoption and sustainability of learning programs.
  • Collaborates with internal and external subject matter experts to propose innovative learning solutions that shape the employee experience.
  • Coaches, mentors, and provides development opportunities for the Enterprise Learning Team.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement across the learning ecosystem and implements innovative learning experiences that engages all learner types.
  • Tracks, measures, and reports on participation and achievement in learning experiences, both live and on-demand, creating winning strategies, converting them into clear plans for execution, and delivering on those plans and iterating on content and delivery to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Drives continuous improvement solutions in learning supported by employee insights.
  • Continuously assesses industry trends on learning ecosystems to inform and provide insights
  • Helps shape the learning strategy and executes on the plan developed by the team. Execution and delivery support determined by internal vs. external learning paths.
  • Considers the learning needs of hourly and exempt employees to implement programs appropriate for role, location and need.
  • Works with internal & external partners to identify and share innovation in Learning and Communications.
  • Develops and ensures learning processes and methodologies that relate to content creation, delivery, and systems. Including the approach to Irresistible University and maintaining an irresistible consumer grade experience.
  • Delivers exceptional, engaging content via eLearning, Instructor Led, Facilitator Instruction for Learning Labs/Workshops, Videos, Podcasts, Social Communities, etc.
  • Performs other role-related duties as needed


Position Requirements :

  • Strong people management and team building skills
  • Knowledge of learning and development best practices
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Instructional Design best practices
  • Design and Development knowledge building learning programs and solutions from conceptual design, detailed design through development and delivery
  • Facilitation experience and evaluation of facilitator performance.
  • Advanced skills in learning measurement and the ability to iterate on deliverables based on results.
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Results-driven mindset with ability to work under pressure, navigate through ambiguity, and balance priorities
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Strong project management leader with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to gather, interpret, and define solutions requirements from various business units with a consultative approach, required.
  • Previous experience working with multiple stakeholders or clients delivering large scale learning solutions on time, within budget.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating technical solutions with global teams; required.
  • Strong leadership skills with understanding and appreciation for regional differences required.
  • Solid interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact, persuade, or negotiate effectively at all levels of management and peers; required.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's or equivalent experience is required
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive relevant learning experience is required preferably in a Learning Services team or organization.
  • Instructional Design and Facilitation experience a plus
  • Experience using Learning Management and/or Learning Experience Platforms, required.
  • Working knowledge of SCORM and/or AICC publish standards, learning record stores (LRS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based integrations, preferred.
  • People Management experience required.


Compensation Range: $122,500 - $180,000
