Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system across our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management and business analysis, with specific expertise in ERP implementations within a mid-size company.
Responsibilities

  • Contribute in the discovery, initiation and implementation phases of an ERP platform rollout , including project planning, scoping, resource allocation, budget management, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, Operations, and HR, to gather requirements, define project objectives, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive business analysis to identify current processes, pain points, and opportunities for improvement, and translate these findings into ERP system requirements and design specifications.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charter, project plan, risk register and change management plan to ensure transparency, accountability, and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project stakeholders, including executive leadership, steering committees, and end-users, to ensure their engagement, support, and alignment with project objectives and deliverables.
  • Oversee the selection and management of external vendors and consultants, as needed, to supplement internal project resources and expertise.
  • Participate actively in the assessment and selection of the ERP platform and Implementor Consulting services.
  • Facilitate change management activities, plan training and post-implementation support to ensure a smooth transition to the new ERP system and maximize user adoption and satisfaction.


Job requirements
Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in project management required, 8+ years preferred, with a proven track record of successfully working in ERP implementation projects in a mid-size company environment.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design, with a focus on driving business process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred; familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite or Workday; familiarity with cloud-based ERP solutions is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Jira, Smartsheet, and SharePoint are a plus.

The expected base salary range for this position is $88,000-$100,000, however the offered salary may be higher or lower than the above range dependent on numerous factors including, but not limited to location, work experience, skills and internal equity considerations. The base salary is not inclusive of benefits or other incentives.
