Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Senior Transportation Analyst at our facility in Plantation, FL to influence business and tech teams across the company to standup new processes and provide advanced analytics to make data-driven decisions.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Interface between the S&OP, Merchandising, Supply Planning, Transportation and Operations teams bringing continuity to the inbound program.
  • Provide capabilities and visibility to support end-to-end transportation network.
  • Provide all levels of the company with updates on Transportation metrics, including ongoing analysis and interpretation of data.
  • Present information verbally, as well as in written reports and executive summaries.
  • Perform freight conversion analysis to move vendors from Prepaid to Collect freight terms.
  • Manage projects and develop supply chain capabilities with little direction.
  • Drive continuous improvement across reporting suite and identify gaps in data.
  • Analyze leakage elements within inbound freight (use of spot market, increasing rates, damages).
  • Build processes and tools to help the business scale with growth while maintaining cost & service metrics.
  • Perform root cause analysis, develop, and implement corrective action plans to improve carrier performance.
  • Analyze phases of electronic freight payment system (EDI), rate audit, and third party freight payment Support.
  • Support cross-functional ongoing analysis to optimize mode of transportation based on ordering patterns.
  • Lead the identification of trends, factors and KPI’s with the objective of reducing cost per shipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies throughout the transportation network using a data-driven approach.
  • Develop, maintain, and own all cost analysis for inbound transportation and facilitate all partnerships/requests from the finance.
  • Design and implement the reporting framework and dashboard for efficient performance analytics across the inbound network perform ad hoc analyses, bridge variance, validate data for dashboards, etc.
  • Interface with different stakeholders (SC planning and operation/ Replenishment) to build a robust and accurate lanelevel forecasting.
  • Local telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
  • 10% domestic travel required.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field of study, and 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Transportation required.
  • The company will also accept a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Transportation.
  • Experience must include: Supply Chain Transportation;
  • working with big data related to Transportation (Truckload, Intermodal, LTL and parcel);
  • identifying trends, tracking KPI’s, and creating and reporting on freight metrics;
  • developing tools, dashboards, metrics and reports to create network visibility on cost and service;
  • MS Excel for Pivot Tables, vlookups, Macros, Forecasting, Data Manipulation, and Formulas;
  • Microsoft Office suite, Visio, SQL, and Tableau and/or equivalent data visualization tools;
  • working with OTM or other TMS; R or python programming for data analysis, statistical analysis, and automation to drive efficiency;
  • cloud‐based data storage and data analytics solutions;
  • Supply chain Optimization;
  • decision support system for Logistics and Supply chain;
  • Lean and six sigma methodologies; and
  • Financial modeling to understand cost metrics, data preparation, and forecasting.
  • Local telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
  • 10% domestic travel required.
