This is a temporary role through Magnit for a leading healthcare insurance company in the US.

Position Notes:

  • 8:00-5:00 PM schedule
  • Can be from anywhere in the United States

Position Overview:

  • Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost-effective application programming solution.
  • Develops, documents, and follows standard coding practices.
  • Comprehensively tests, including negative/regression testing, in order to prevent re-work.
  • Provides comprehensive consultation to business units and IT management and staff at the highest technical level on all phases of data integration processes and data management.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Development team members within the Quality Apps Support team are responsible for the following:

  • Design new or modified code development, tests, debugs, and documents programs
  • Conduct development work required in a comprehensive manner consistent with our best practices and standards
  • Coordinate with systems analyst and other developers on technical delivery Proactively learn ways to improve systems, reducing costs and maximizing opportunities

Required Experience / Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of advanced T-SQL (complex JOINs, subqueries, stored procedures, indexes, temp tables and CTEs, query optimization is a MUST). MS SQL is a must. TD SQL is desired but not required.
  • 3+ years of functional testing and regression/negative testing
  • 3+ years of Intermediate to advanced SSRS (hands on dev experience with drilldowns, drillthroughs, dynamic groupings, document maps, single dataset for multiple controls etc.)
  • 3+ years of intermediate to advance SSIS
  • 3+ years of unit/functional testing and regression/negative testing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Logical, detail-oriented team player who learns quickly and has the ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast paced environment

  • SNP Model of Care
  • Health Services / Medical Management / Population Health

The Team

Quality Apps Support team is responsible for:

  • Quality Datamart maintenance
  • All Cigna MA SNP Model of Care (MOC) and HRA reporting
  • vBids WHP reporting
  • CMS Universe and annual Part C reporting
  • CMS Face to Face Requirements reporting

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

  • The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $53-$71/hour W-2.
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met).
