Role Description:
We are looking for an analyst to join our Supply Planning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing cost-to-serve analysis to calculate the true cost of servicing customers. This includes computing the consumed cost of each supply model activity needed to serve the demand, providing a comprehensive picture of total landed costs from product origin to delivery, and predicting the estimated expenses and profits associated with serving customers in the future. The Cost-to-Serve Analyst will also use cost-to-serve insights to segment products, service areas, and supply models on profitability rather than revenue alone.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer data to identify cost-to-serve trends and opportunities for cost savings.
- Develop cost-to-serve models to accurately predict expenses and profits associated with serving customers.
- Utilize cost-to-serve insights to segment customers, products, service areas, and suppliers based on profitability.
- Monitor customer demand shifts and adjust cost-to-serve models accordingly.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for cost savings.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate cost-to-serve analysis results to senior management.
