What we're looking for:

Nexamp's Capital Markets team is seeking to hire a  Operations Coordinator. In this role you lead the project management responsibilities for the Capital Markets team, support tax-Equity and debt financing at a portfolio level and collaborate with various stakeholders on process improvements.  This individual will have the opportunity for future growth and development amongst a group of high achieving and fun professionals. We are seeking a driven, dedicated, and enthusiastic professional to join our dynamic team.

You will be hybrid in our Boston HQ. This position will report to the Manager, Capital Markets.

What you'll do:

  • Organize and maintain internal data management and communication (including upcoming tax-equity and debt financing, fundings, and project checklists, etc.).
  • Work independently and as part of a team to develop and refine best practices for efficient processes and procedures.
  • Support certain recurring meetings such as milestone funding and financing all-hands by organizing calendar invites, setting agenda, and managing post meeting notes etc.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify improvement and/or build internal processes to streamline communication and coordination within deal team.
  • Coordinate with other business units such as Legal, Community Solar, Energy Sales, Business Development, EPC, Finance and Accounting to manage project and financing check list and dataroom.
  • Assist with the preparation of portfolio financing including coordination with the project finance, development, design, estimation, community solar and legal teams on key open risks by project.
  • Support the administering of projects through construction, financing and achieving commercial operation.
  • Participate in regular Capital Markets update meetings.
  • Organize and support team functions and events.

What you'll bring:

Ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, results-oriented, and operate well in a collaborative, team environment. The ideal candidate should be prepared for increased responsibilities as they relate to the role and in a rapidly growing company. Qualifications include:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years of administrative responsibilities ideally experience with project management preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills required.
  • Desire to expand skills to include but not be limited to capital markets support.
  • Comfortable learning quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects.
  • Commitment to Nexamp's mission and have a passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
  • Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization. We value accountability and an ownership mentality.
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.  
  • Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry. 
  • Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and then apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.
