The Capital & Investment Team plays an integral part in this journey by managing the Company’s debt stack, establishing and maintain lender relationships, and overseeing execution of debt related initiatives and transaction.

The Director of Capital Markets will use their talents to efficiently manage a growing and diversified capital stack and collaborate across multiple departments including Acquisitions, Investment Management, Accounting, and Asset Management. This position is a senior role within the newly formed Capital & Investment Team that will lead the Capital Markets group financing activities.

Your Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with senior management and executives and provide support for a full range of business solutions.
  • Evaluate and assess accretive financing strategies to optimize debt capital stack
  • Analyze existing and pro forma debt portfolio, evaluate multiple financing options, and provide recommendations to senior management and executives.
  • Ensure timely delivery of debt related performance updates to be included in internal monthly and quarterly reporting. Aid Investment management in creation and distribution of external investment reporting.
  • Work closely with Asset Management to manage current cash position, assist in projection and calculation of cash available for distribution and aid in capital events such as refinancing’s, recapitalizations and dispositions for debt related matters.
  • Analyze recurring data provided from Asset Management to make quality business decisions.

The responsibilities listed above are not all inclusive. However, they are indicative of the types of responsibilities normally performed by the Director of Capital Markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or similar STEM programs with 3-7 years of professional experience
  • Advanced financial modeling skills; High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
