Position Overview:
The Director, Strategic Business Development serves as the commercial lead for established strategic customers. In this role you will work closely with our operational delivery teams to maintain positive relationships with our strategic partners. You will expand product/services knowledge across the strategic accounts to maximize revenue opportunities.
In this role you will reporting to Executive Director, Business Development.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for selling clinical trial software to named strategic accounts.
- Define and execute on strategy for growing revenue with assigned strategic accounts.
- Understand the eClinical marketplace and randomization and trial supply management (RTSM) competitive landscape.
- Educate customers on the value of Endpoint Clinical and our solutions.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of presentations to clients about the endpoint platform products and services.
- Maintain accurate records and log activities in our Salesforce customer relationship management system.
- Communicate activities and coordinate sales pipeline with sales leadership.
- Facilitate the development of quotes and proposals with the support of the sales operations and solutions team.
- Work closely with operational delivery teams to ensure our strategic accounts are well taken care of to maintain and grow business.
- Participate in various trade shows and conferences.
- Travel will be required to meet with customers, as well as attend company meetings and tradeshows.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or appropriate experience
Experience:
- 8+ years RTSM, eClinical, clinical supply, and/or pharmaceutical services-related experience.
- 4+ years sales experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in strategic account management.
- Proven track record of success in Business-to-Business sales.
