Position Overview

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Email Marketing Coordinator to be an integral part of our Email Newsletter Team! You’ll assist in building, scheduling and optimizing email marketing newsletters and continually improve our email audience engagement efforts.

What you'll do

  • Set up and run 30+ email newsletters a week
  • Ability to create engaging and persuasive email content, including copywriting, image selection, and content layout to increase engagement
  • Conduct A/B testing for email content, design elements, and subject lines to identify and implement strategies that improve email performance.
  • Create landing pages with compelling copy to drive conversions
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technological advancements in email marketing, and consistently seek innovative ways to improve campaigns
  • Analyze and report on email campaign results, highlighting successes, trends, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with the rest of the email marketing team to meet company goals
  • Place ads and sponsorships within the newsletters to increase revenue
  • Maintain and optimize workflows for managing subscribers throughout their lifecycle, from onboarding to re-engagement and churn prevention
  • Regularly audit and clean the email subscriber list to remove inactive or non-engaging contacts, ensuring better deliverability and engagement rates
  • Plan and execute retention-focused email campaigns such as winback and nurture series for long-term subscriber retention and reduced churn rates


Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or minimum of 1 year experience in email marketing
  • Proficient in HTML and email builder UI
  • Experience in email tools like Sailthru, Ongage, Marketo, Pardot is preferred
  • Experience working in project management tools such as Monday.com. 
  • Building email marketing campaigns/newsletters
  • Experience in email automations and workflows
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication
  • Able to work cross-functionally with editorial teams/content producers
  • Add creativity to enhance performance of email newsletters
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks to meet deadlines
  • Understanding of basic facets of email marketing
  • Creative and able to make eye-catching email templates and subject lines
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • Results driven with a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent at taking direction and require little follow-up
  • Able to become subject matter expert in specific tech news topics
  • Passionate about growing as an email marketer and developing your career skills
  • Comfortable working night shift
  • Must have a working laptop/pc and internet and back-up connection
  • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
