Koddi is looking for a QA engineer to find bugs in code before they have a chance to cripple our operations. As a QA engineer, you will work in a challenging and growing environment, and contribute to the company culture.

What you will do

• Proficient in completing tasks independently with minimal supervision in an Agile setting
• Capable of testing and automating complex API and web applications that reference backend database systems.
• Collaborate closely with developers to create software artifacts including test plans and test cases
• Actively participate in reviewing product specifications and technical documentation to build automated tests 
• Possess experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing
• Skillful in reporting, reproducing, debugging, isolating problems, and verifying fixes.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to derive functional and non-functional test requirements throughout the development cycle 
• Demonstrate expertise in creating test processes and procedures used to ensure that software operates within defined requirements.

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 6+ years of testing experience
• Proficient in coding in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Golang or in scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python
• You have experience testing frameworks such as TestCafe, Protractor, Robot Framework, Playwright and tools such as Cypress for UI testing
• You have experience working with databases and writing queries in SQL
• Proficient in testing REST APIs
