Position Summary

The FP&A Capital Manager is responsible for supporting the reporting and analytics for the business unit capital investment performance. This role will include responsibilities across: budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, reporting and analyses in support of capital investments for various Business Units. The FP&A Capital Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing analytical standards for reporting and modeling KPIs.

As a key financial liaison, the FP&A Capital Manager will partner with the various departments across the business unit.

Key Responsibilities 100%

1. Oversee Financial Reporting & Forecasting: 65%

  • Perform the month-to-month financial reporting including research, explanation, and resolution of monthly variance
  • Prepare reporting packages: Close report, CFO month end package, monthly cash trends and audit schedules Review planning, long range planning, budgeting, and forecasting for capital expenditures based on BU input

2. Data Visualization Management: 25%

  • Design, develop, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, to provide meaningful insights and visualizations for decision-making purposes
  • Perform data modeling concepts to optimize data models for performance and efficiency in Power BI or other reporting visualization tools

3. Support standardized reporting across the business unit 10%

  • Identify opportunities to standardize reporting across businesses
  • Complete ad-hoc and special projects as requested by senior leadership

Minimum Requirements

  • 5-7 years of Finance experience required

Critical Skills

  • Moderate experience working with FP&A systems such as BPC is preferred
  • Experience with PowerBI or Tableau preferred

Specialized Knowledge/Skills

  • Attention to detail and demonstration of quick follow-up to study needs, commits to quality
  • Possess ability and willingness to evaluate complex business problems, determine a solution and make effective and persuasive presentations to management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - this position interfaces with senior executives on a regular basis
  • Advanced Excel, Proficient PowerPoint

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • MBA preferred

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$96,900 - $161,500
