HR Technology Workday Analyst
Description
Work Arrangement:
This role is based remotely, but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Pontiac, Milford or Mountain View, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.
The Role:
The HR Technology and Operations (HRTO) team manages strategy, operations, and governance of various HR applications such as Workday HCM and delivers end to end HR solutions for our business. You will be part of a team that is responsible to deliver configuration in support of projects, enhancements and issues in Workday and related functional areas. Additionally, this team also provides tier-2 support for end users.
We are searching for HRTO Workday Analysts who will function as Workday subject matter experts in one of the following areas within Workday:
- Staffing
- Talent/Performance
- Compensation
- Labor
- Core HCM (including Security & Organizations)
This role will involve collaborating, influencing, and working effectively with cross functional partners such as IT, CoEs, Global Business Solutions (GBS), HR business partners and other business functions to configure, troubleshoot, test and deploy Workday configuration; this role will require working flexible hours to accommodate Global stakeholders and projects when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver projects, operational changes and troubleshoot issues related to Workday modules
- Gather business needs and translate into technical deliverables in the Workday application. Support business users in validation of Workday processes, data conversion and integrations.
- Partner with the CoE as well as other cross functional partners to understand strategic direction for the functional area and recommend Workday best practices.
- Analyze current processes, future needs and assess gaps between as-is and to-be processes. Provide solutions in Workday to bridge the gap including data and security changes that are needed to enable the solution.
- Support Workday Releases, Enhancements, Features, etc. for 2 Workday releases / year. Partner with the CoE to determine features to implement and which features to not implement. Partner with the CoE to define and conduct the test scenarios of the Workday Release
- Maintain understanding of key pain points and improvement opportunities for configuration and use of HR Technologies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR leaders, IT professionals, and end-users
Additional Description
Experience:
- 4+ years of Workday HCM configuration experience
- Excellent public presentation, design judgment, situational judgement, consulting, learning agility, quality orientation, end-to-end process management, process improvement and timely problem solving skills
- Experience of working in an agile project delivery environment is a plus
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices
Compensation:
- The expected base compensation for this role is $83,800 - $133,900 USD Annually.
- Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
- Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
