Nuveen Services, LLC seeks a Lead Developer at our office in Charlotte, NC to design, code, develop/enhance, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards and monitor development work to ensure resulting software meets established goals. Coach, review, and delegate work to lower level professionals. Identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, and define scope and objectives for the IT system. Oversee the configuration, customization, diagnoses, and enhancements for operating systems software and provide technical and product support to the business to ensure the business runs smoothly. Perform detailed design and code reviews and address findings appropriately to ensure the quality of deliverables. Provide technical and product supports to business for trading applications. Perform migration and consolidate from legacy old applications to new common trading applications and migrate in-house to cloud systems. Support phases of integration and user acceptance testing to ensure timely resolution of defects. Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree and 5 years of experience in asset management software or AWS development.

Salary range: The offered salary for this specific position is at least $149,469 per year. Please note that the base pay range shown below is a general salary range for similar occupations within the company, and does not apply to this specific position.

Base Pay Range: $104,900/yr. - $169,800/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
