Job Description:

Every single day, our data platforms collect and deliver millions of personalized interactions and transactions across our channels (web, mobile, phones, etc.) for 39+ million Workplace Investing participants. The true value in the data comes from our ability to transform that data, drawing upon your analytical expertise to drive leading class analytics, experimentation, and insight generation.

We are looking for an analytics professional to be a creative and collaborative team member, helping analyze and develop data driven initiatives. As an indispensable member of the Workplace Investing Data Analytics & Insights Chapter, you'll be embedded within a team focused on Client Reporting and Analytics. The team provides strategic insight into topics related to client reporting. This work is critical to helping Workplace Investing (WI) and Fidelity strive to scale its growth and fully leverage new and existing capabilities.

You will work on a wide array of initiatives that cover both product analytics and client analytics and will focus on delivering reports, dashboards, ad hoc analyses and strategic insights.

Manager, Data Analytics and Insights

This is an opportunity to provide your insights and enable Workplace Investments (WI) to make the data-driven decisions required to meet their strategic objectives.

The Expertise We're Looking For

  • Bachelors or equivalent with 5+ years of experience generating analytical insights to drive business actions
  • Knowledge in a variety of analytics techniques such as: profiling, data mining, modeling, statistical analysis, and campaign measurement
  • Experience working with data environments and strong knowledge in querying language and/or querying applications (SQL, Alteryx)
  • Strong in MS Office Package usage skill especially MS Excel. Strong relational database skills
  • Experience utilizing AtScale or similar technologies to develop broader solutions for data consumption & visualization
  • Experience in telling stories with data using data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)

As part of the Workplace Investing Data Analytics & Insights Chapter, you will and be responsible for the filling the growing demand for business intelligence and strategic insights across WI. You will drive leading class analytics, experimentation, insight generation--harnessing our underlying platforms that collect and deliver millions of interactions and transactions across our channels (web, mobile, phones, etc.)

  • You have a deep understanding of analytical techniques and how they can be applied to address particular problem characteristics
  • You have analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in the areas of strategy development, business analysis, risks, and opportunity assessment
  • You have working knowledge of analytic technologies (e.g. Alteryx, SAS, SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
  • You know how to acquire data from multiple sources/environments and transform it so it can be used for analytics
  • You have the ability to think on your feet and respond effectively when priorities change
  • You strive to better communicate data through data visualization and storytelling

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
