Cognizant is looking for a "Manager-Duck Creek" for developing customized product for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

Job Location: Sarasota - FL USA CLT

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Experience Required Business Analyst 9+ years Duck Creek Policy experience 7+ years.

• Experienced in providing expert guidance in the understanding of the insurance product and business needs of the customer.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills Understanding of Agile project lifecycle activities for requirements implementation and maintenance.

• Solid experience doing requirements elicitation drafting requirement artifacts meeting with business stakeholders to define project goals.

• Working knowledge and use of Microsoft products (Word PowerPoint Visio Excel One Note) .

• Experience using SharePoint and JIRA to support customer implementations.

• Provide DC Policy guidance while leading client elaboration session aligning client to best practices for Policy OnDemand programs.

• Plan facilitate and conduct requirements gathering sessions with business.

• Deliver informative and well-organized presentations interacting professionally with a diverse group including executive's managers and subject matter experts.

• Work collaboratively with client to align priorities and critical path items necessary to achieve defined objectives according to plan.

• Proactively identifies areas of project risk and assists with implementing mitigation plans.

• Continually monitor and identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions for presentation to the customer when base gaps are found.

• Assist in overall project management of functional deliverables to include prioritization of backlog and management of customer expectations through enforcement of deadlines and schedules.

• Leads daily stand-up meetings for BA/QA/Dev if team size does not justify a dedicated Scrum Master.

• Assigns work to other business analysts to help gather/document requirements or issues and monitors to closure Customer contact for all system business user questions.

• Works with developers and QA to help them in understanding requirements and/or issues Document.
