About the Role
The Manager, Product Analytics is the craft leader and a point of reference for Product Analytics in the global Business Intelligence team. You will serve as the key analytics partner for our Group Product Managers across the Core, Foundation, and Distribution domains. You will harness analytical tools and methods to drive data-driven decisions that help our clients grow by improving traffic, conversion, and user experience.
As the Manager, Product Analytics, your role is designed to proactively support the development and execution of product strategy, equipping key stakeholders with actionable qualitative and quantitative insights. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who aspires to guide and mentor a team of Product Analysts.
To be successful in this role you are required to have strong digital analytics skills, and a proven record in leading complex data analytics projects, preferably in a SaaS environment, and excellent written and spoken communication skills.
What you’ll do here:
- Define metrics to measure success of product initiatives across Core, Foundation, and Distribution domains, collaborating closely with Group Product Managers.
- Develop reporting to track product performance and business impact of various initiatives across traffic, conversion, pricing, payments, affiliate, sites, APIs to support client growth.
- Track user interactions, analyze product usage patterns, and derive insights that inform and optimize product strategy and user engagement.
- Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate product features and changes, measure their impact on user behavior and business, and inform future optimization.
- Leverage digital analytics tools to gather, interpret, and report on data, driving improvements in digital marketing strategies and online user experience.
- Partner with data engineering, commercial, and business operation teams to ensure a holistic approach to product analytics.
- Present analytical findings to senior management, offering strategic recommendations that enhance operational efficiency and product excellence.
- Drive the analytics agenda, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making across the product teams (playbooks, blueprints, toolboxes, knowledge base).
- Lead and mentor a team of Product Analysts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 6+ years in product analytics, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field. Experience in B2B SaaS environment is a plus.
- Strong background in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization.
- Proven experience in using analytics to influence product strategy and execution.
- Expertise using data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4, Adobe Analytics, etc.).
- Expertise in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders of varying technical knowledge.
- Experience in people management, including leading and developing teams
- Agile and lean thinking, with a bias for action and a focus on delivering client value.
