The Payroll Manager will support all duties associated with the accurate processing, recording of payroll, tax compliance and related financial close activities for the Americas as well as EMEA and APAC regions at Tufin.
This role is part of the Global Payroll team and will work closely with Human Resources and our external 3rd party payroll vendors. As we look to transition our US payroll from PEO to in-house independent payroll, the Payroll Manager should have experience of both processes as well as managing the transition. Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer payroll for US, Canada and assist with EMEA and APAC payrolls, including collating and verifying payroll input data, updating payroll providers with changes, tracking payroll approvals and ensuring timeline and accuracy.
- Reporting and payment to tax authorities and submission and review of local tax filings. Manage payroll and 401k audits.
- Payroll tasks relating to on/off boarding for new/terminated employees and employee terms changes.
- Provide service to all employees regarding questions about payroll, troubleshooting and any inquiries.
- Key member of transition team from US PEO provider to independent inhouse payroll.
- Perform all processing and general ledger functions related to payroll as part of the monthly and quarterly close process. This includes balancing and recording all payroll related journal entries, accruals, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, data requests.
- Maintain detailed budget and forecast files for global payroll
- Ensure cash-flow requirements are met for payroll runs in each jurisdiction and maintain cash-flow forecasts on an ongoing basis.
- Process stock option related transactions as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in US payroll processing and general accounting
- Experience of payroll processing in EMEA and APAC - advantage
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Strong excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Proficiency with NetSuite and TriNet is a strong advantage
- Experience working in a global organization and multinational teams
- Possess knowledge of payroll-related requirements and regulations
- Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize work to meet tight deadlines
- Performs with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
