We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Principal Product Innovator to spearhead emerging product innovations within our OneTru Innovation Team. This role demands a unique blend of business acumen, hand-ons data science experience, product management proficiency, and expert customer engagement skills. The ideal candidate will lead the development and execution of groundbreaking products, from conceptualization to beta launch, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our customers.

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in technology & analytics consulting, technical pre-sales, product management, and/or customer-facing data science roles
  • Proven track record of leading development and launch of successful data-driven products
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, machine learning, applied AI, and statistical modeling techniques
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to collaborate with engineering teams
  • Experience in applying user centric design principles to meet user's needs
  • Experience in rapid prototyping and developing MVP's to test and validate concepts
  • Proactively stays current on industry trends & market research to inform product innovation decisions
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Strategic thinker with strong bias for action
  • This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week


Impact You'll Make:

  • Product Innovation & Development: Lead the ideation, research, and development of new product concepts leveraging our innovative solution enablement platform, OneTru, within the information services and SaaS domain. Utilize design thinking in collaboration with our customers to build prototypes and MVPs that address key market opportunities
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with tight cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, marketing, and sales, to ensure rapid product incubation and execution
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with existing and potential customers to gather feedback, validate product concepts, and identify unique customer needs. Craft compelling sales presentations to promote novel product ideas.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators for product success. Adjust strategies based on data-drive insights & feedback to optimize product performance and customer satisfaction

Pay Scale Information :
The salary range for this position is $157,205.00 - $266,500.00. *The salary range for this position reflects the general range of compensation for this job and does not include our bonus incentive(s). This position is eligible for bonus incentive(s). At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position, and market considerations.
