Job Title: Rate Operations Specialist (hybrid)

Location: US-GA-Atlanta (Sandy Springs)

FLSA: Exempt

Job Overview:

The Rate Operations Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of rate and form requests, such as New Customer enrollments, Form and rate associations to customers, defect investigation and correction, and escalation of items that require project level scope. Advises on status of requests, quickly identifies items of concern and communicates promptly to various stakeholders such as Client Relations, Risk/Actuarial teams, and other IT and Business units.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Interact with business users to define and analyze requests
  • Update production systems through various methods to complete request including Excel template loads and direct modification into production systems.
  • Analyze and make recommendations on improving existing business processes
  • Lead special projects/assignments as directed by management
  • Serve as liaison between business requestor and developers/IT stakeholders
  • Test and provide feedback to development team
  • Conduct Demos and user training
  • Understand intricacies and nuances of pricing\

    ating systems

  • Prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Share acquired knowledge and skills with team members through documentation and training when appropriate
  • Other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and take action on it
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand the organization's goals and objectives
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • MS Suite knowledge required - High level of competency in Excel
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check

Job Preferences:

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, Finance, or information systems
  • 2 - 4 years work experience on automobile service contract/insurance claim administration
  • Some level of project management skills
  • SQL experience
