This is an onsite position for Fort Worth, TX

Position Description: At Biologics by McKesson, our mission is to simplify access to medication and deliver personalized care that helps patients achieve the best-possible outcomes - one patient, one partner, one therapy at time. The Resolutions Specialist will be responsible for supporting escalated orders that need immediate attention. This includes supporting the pharmacist in end-to-end prescription processing, including order intake/restart, benefits investigation, prior authorization support, Rx setup and claims adjudication, patient assistance, as well as refill management and delivery coordination functions in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Schedule:

  • Office is open Monday through Friday, 7am to 7pm Central Time. Must be available to work an 8-hour shift during these hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The primary role of the Resolution Specialist includes the following:

Resolution, triaging, and documentation of potential service issues

  • Resolving issues by performing varied BPAS functions where appropriate in order to expedite or correct patient care.
  • Triaging appropriate issues to other pharmacy operations teams and collaborating on action plans to resolve.
  • Checking for compliance to SOPs, SLAs, expectations as well as contractual, Federal, and State regulatory requirements.
  • Documenting the details of the potential service issues and resolution action plans, such as date received, source of issue, root cause of issue, resolution steps, etc.
  • Following up on progress until issue resolution is achieved.

Analysis and reporting of major themes and root causes of issues

  • Monitoring, tracking, and reporting results of issue resolution efforts.
  • Aggregation, analysis, and visualization of key findings related to volume and type of service issues.

Communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Using a proactive communication style to model and promote culture of trust.
  • Collaborating with operational leadership staff to understand and resolve issues, including building action plans where necessary.
  • Communicating to patients or providers as appropriate related to issue resolution.

New Drug Launch Ambassadors

  • Proactively working NDL orders
  • Streamlining workflow prior to new drug expiration period

Maintaining escalations queue

  • Communicate with patients regarding escalated orders and ensure resolution of issue is reached

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Typically requires 5+ years of related experience

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology and experience in a healthcare environment
  • Prefer 1+ years of experience working and understanding patients' clinical, financial and emotional needs related to patient access; prior experience or knowledge of working with insurance
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Highly motivated and committed to excellence with a positive attitude
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Ability to effectively work with people
  • Entrepreneurial approach to bring new ideas to our service and solutions
  • Flexible, adaptable, conscientious and detail oriented
  • Is currently or is willing to become a certified pharmacy technician

Career Level - IC - Business Support - B4

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$22.56 - $37.60
