Job Description

Title: SAS Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Responsibilities

  • Develop SAS programs and scripts to process analyze and manipulate large volumes of data Write and optimize SAS code for data extraction transformation and loading ETL processes.
  • Build and maintain SAS datasets tables and views to support data analysis and reporting requirements.
  • Perform data validation quality assurance and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and consistency of data processed by SAS programs.
  • Generate reports and visualizations using SAS tools such as SAS Enterprise Guide or SAS Visual Analytics.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to integrate SAS solutions with data storage and processing systems.
  • Provide technical support training and mentorship to end users and stakeholders on using SAS applications and tools efficiently.
  • Stay ahead of with SAS software updates new features and standard processes in data analytics and data management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience as a Base SAS Programmer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in SAS programming language including data step programming SAS Macro Language SAS SQL and SAS Procedures.
  • Demonstrable understanding of data processing concepts.
  • ETL methodologies and data warehousing principles.
  • Experience with SAS data management tools like SAS Data Integration Studio is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and social skills with the ability to collaborate efficiently in a team environment.
