In this role, you will be part of the Institutional Investment Group Technology (IIGTech) team responsible for supporting the design, development and testing of Vanguard's B2B and B2C web and mobile experiences leveraging solutions of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). You will work along-side a team of front-end developers, mid-tier developers, data engineers, Tech Leads and Architects to support a variety of AEM implementation patterns including headful, headless and hybrid. You will work with business and IT partners to advise and implement solutions according to industry best practices.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with business, application teams, architects and techleads to identity, review and evaluate the solution requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and configure web content management solutions using Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe AEM Assets, and/or technologies (Java, HTML/DHTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, web services).
  • Create and integrate content-driven applications on top of AEMs core platform and integrate with other solutions.
  • Integrate websites with web analytics and campaign management tools.
  • Assist Vanguard marketing clients in achieving strategic digital business objectives through technology solution implementation.
  • Document knowledge and best practices around AEM platform capabilities.
  • Investigate and propose strategic fits for virtualization, consolidation and rationalization solution opportunities within the infrastructure or business.
  • Propose changes to the technical design solutions as applicable.
  • Evaluate and align strategic fit solutions across platforms and solutions specific to system infrastructure and software technologies.
  • Participate in and provide consulting to delivery teams on AEM design development, integration opportunities as it relates to the overall MarTech ecosystem.

What it takes:

  • Bachelor's degree in field requiring strong analytical and quantitative skills such as Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems.
  • 8+ years' experience in Web Development technologies (Java, HTML/DHTML, XML, JavaScript, web services).
  • 5+ years' experience in Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Hands-on experience developing reusable templates and custom components, Content Fragments and Experience Fragments on the Adobe AEM platform v6.
  • Experience with Java concepts and patterns including Java/J2EE, JSP, Spring, Sling, JMS, JUnit, MVC, Eclipse, Maven.
  • Experience with Agile software development.

What sets you apart:

  • Experience in financial services industry.
  • Working knowledge with AEM architecture is preferred.
  • Knowledge of other Adobe Marketing Cloud platforms (Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, AEP, CDP a plus).
  • Front-end skills such as Angular or React.
