POSITION: Senior Database Developer

LOCATION: Aldie, VA

JOB DUTIES: Create and maintain complex code and data base components (such as queries, views, and stored procedures) that leverage Dynamic SQL to systematically respond to changing pricing models and transactional volumes. Work with solution principal and other database developers. Work cross-functionally with other agile teams to triage defects, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver high quality results through on-going testing. Manage and enhance changes and improvements to existing data and application architecture. Collaborate on automation development and performance optimization. Connect with our business partners to understand requirements, and ensure the required business functionality for the desired outcome is delivered. 95% Telecommuting allowed from Aldi, VA metro area.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's Degree, or a foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Applicants must have three (3) years of demonstrated experience with the following:

• Performing ETL development as part of various data transformation procedures;
• Modern scripting languages;
• Complex data ecosystem or large multi-faceted datasets;
• Agile and product environment; and
• DSQL.

Applicants must have one (1) year of experience with the following:

• Microsoft SQL Server.

OFFERED WAGE: $194,958-$207,800/year
