The Gogo Business Aviation Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for financial planning and forecasting, ad hoc analysis, and reporting in an exciting aviation tech company. The position focuses on analytics and will require creating value-added reports, detailed financial models, and metrics supporting the network, customer, and production operations teams.

How will you make a difference?

  • Support the hardware, software, and development engineering teams as well as Corporate IT
  • Evaluates the financial and strategic impact of development projects such as our upcoming Galileo product
  • Contributor and participant with department heads and executive management for establishing the company's financial plans, including new and existing business.
  • Prepares regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Communicate financial insights and recommendations clearly and concisely.
  • Contributes to strategic decision-making processes by providing data-driven insights.
  • Provides financial analysis and support for the business, including financial planning, budgeting, profitability, forecasting, variance analysis, KPIs, and other areas as needed.
  • Independently analyzes large datasets to identify relevant information, develop critical takeaways, and make required recommendations.
  • Coordinates the preparation of annual budgets, long-term plans, monthly forecasts, and reporting.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field or equivalent experience
  • 4-7 years of experience in Financial Analysis or related field


Required Skills, Experience and Talents

  • Experience with Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Knowledge of Accounting and the associated rules and regulations
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and charts
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of financial and business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills with well-developed presentation skills


Preferred Skills, Experience and Talents

  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively, making good decisions based on business priorities and objectives
  • Able to develop and leverage Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Oracle Hyperion
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to problem-solve independently
  • Experience in the telecommunications, wireless internet services, or communications field is preferred

Base Pay:
74,400.00 - 93,000.00 USD Annual
Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:
Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
