Position Description

Deque is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate has team lead experience and will contribute to the improvement of Deque’s product development infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities

• Contribute to the improvement of Deque’s product development infrastructure. 
• Design, develop & maintain axe-related products and services such as the billing, reporting, and collaboration functionality. 
• Assist in the review of pull requests including security reviews. 
• Write new features, unit and integration tests, data migrations, and related.
• Fix issues in existing code and work with support to reproduce and resolve customer issues. 
• Write and review technical proposals.
• Create and edit sprint tickets using JavaScript, React, Node.js, HTML and CSS, 
• Database generalist skills (SQL), 
• RESTful API design, implementation, and use,
• Agile processes (scrum/kanban)

Requirements

• M.S. in Software Engineering or a closely related field 
• 12 mo. experience as a Team Lead or related position in applications development
• Must have one year of experience using Javascript/Typescript, CSS, React, React Native, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, Stripe, and working in RESTful API design, implementation, and use
