Major Duties :1. Develop market insight by defining the target client segment markets and evaluating industry trends

2. Formulate strategy for the group by aligning cross functional teams, uncovering opportunities and determining life cycle states

3. Shape the value proposition, develop the business case and define the marketing mix model as part of the new product planning process

4. Leads and oversees introducing new products to the market securing regulatory approvals, publishing marketing material and conducting sales training

5. Oversees team providing post product audits and tracking product successes

6. Assess industry movement and refine value based pricing post the launch of new products

7. Attend and present at industry events and publish in industry publications

8. Provides sales support including presenting at client and prospect meetings

9. Conducts post launch audits, tracks product success, analyses P &L, metrics, KPIs, Makes recommendations for improvements to promotional programs

10. Create strategies for cross-program coordination and go-to market rollouts

11. Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity

12. Participates in developing group strategic plan and sets goals and priorities based on the direction set for the umbrella; follows through to ensure that objectives are met

13. Initiates, assists, participates or leads efforts that have an impact on one or more products or deliverables within or across the product umbrella and might involve other parts of the NT Organization; may have a technology component

14. Conducts performance management and career development processes, provides input for staffing and disciplinary actions and provides hands-on training to staff

15. Focus of role is on execution of strategic direction of business function activities

16. Provides input and support to budget management process

Knowledge :• Knowledge of all products or business areas; mastery of 2-4+ and SME ability in at least 1-2+ specific areas; able to lead initiatives relating to client segmentation, evaluating market trends and uncovering opportunities

• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Proficient in constructing/overseeing logical and conclusive presentations, distilling complex subject matter into management-ready materials

• Thorough understanding or knowledge of applicable NT product(s) and a strong understanding of client needs and how this impacts the product development agenda/roadmap

• Proven track record of managing, leading, coaching and developing a team

• Excellent in building key relationships, influencing and negotiating with clients, partners and leaders across multiple disciplines

• Program or project management experience is advantageous; planning, analysis, design and governance

• Knowledge of product management is necessary to provide long term planning and to manage the profitability/performance of a major business segment.

• Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staff.

Experience :• A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required / preferred. Related Industry qualification (e.g. ACCA) is required / preferred
