As a Barclays Senior Pega Developer, you will be integral to the development and enhancement of a client management platform for the Client Lifecycle program which will automate a significant number of processes and allow Barclays to become the Go-To bank for client management. This is an exciting opportunity to be accountable for designing, developing, and setting up usability standards for the platform using Pega.

What will you be doing?• Designing and developing and architecting BPM applications• Understanding business needs and requirements• Leading the effort in gathering and understanding requirements and use cases• Exhibiting solution architecture and design responsibility to deliver solution design within Pega• Designing and developing Integrations• Driving creation and integration of web services/databases/legacy systems• Designing class structure, data models and application frameworks• Leading and governing software development life cycle (SDLC)

What we're looking for:• Several years of software development experience; particularly within Banking and financial services industry• More than five years of experience in development on Pega PRPC platform, and thorough knowledge about PEGA Class Hierarchy• Hands on experience in Agile methodology, application design, Pega hands-on coding is a must and knowledge in Pega KYC framework is required• Experienced in delivering critical, complex PEGA application with numerous modules involved

Skills that will help you in the role:• Knowledge of PRPC Rule Resolution, Inheritance, Circumstancing, Persistence, JMS/JNDI Connectors, PRPC Multi-node architecture and caching• REST/SOAP/XML/WS-Security/MQ expertise• Expert in Pega PRPC queue processors/Job schedulers and Services knowledge• Over five years of experience with MS SQL Server
