About the Role


To meet the growing demand for Craft’s services, Craft is seeking a motivated and versatile Senior Sales Engineer to join our team to bolster client acquisition activities focused on the Supply Chain and Procurement domains.

What You'll Do

  • Lead pre-sales engineering engagements with clients
  • Supporting bids ranging from $200k-1m+
  • Conduct technical presentations to demonstrate how Craft products will meet client needs
  • Support RFP/RFI & proposal processes
  • Take the lead in proof-of-concept phases with the client (developing proposals, determining success criteria, implementing, running and demonstrating desired outcomes)
  • Assist in developing and presenting proposals to the client.
  • Ensure the proposed Craft solution is capable of being implemented in a scalable manner, and meets customers’ desired business outcomes
  • Work closely (onsite or remotely) with clients to understand work-flows and existing in enterprise software architecture
  • Identify product gaps and collaborate with product management to scope and prioritize the product roadmap
  • Collaborate with product management in validating new product capabilities through prototyping
  • Provide training and produce support material for the sales team
  • Lead technical activities for initial phase of implementation

Who You Are

  • 5+ Years of experience as an Solutions Engineer or similar pre-sales role
  • 3+ Years of experience in a SaaS environment, preferably Enterprise
  • Previous experience with working with leaders in enterprise organizations, preferably in the manufacturing, aerospace and defense enterprises
  • Able to evangelize ideas at the most senior levels in the organization
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver presentations comfortably at 1:1 or to a group
  • Strong ability to navigate internal and external stakeholders as required to move the deal forwards
  • Comprehensive understanding of the enterprise software landscape in large organizations
  • Experience in shaping and preferably executing SaaS technology implementations
