Role:

We seek a Senior Tableau Developer to join our Enterprise Data and Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Tableau development, experience with data modeling in SQL, and the ability to easily navigate in both business and technical capacities to deliver high-quality results.

As a Senior Tableau Developer, your primary responsibilities will include full ownership of data modeling, designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau content and reports to support business intelligence initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and create visualizations that provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau content across all enterprise functions.
• Develop strong business domain knowledge and partnerships with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and then ideate, develop, and iterate to deliver high-quality and timely solutions.
• Perform data analysis and modeling using SQL to create curated data models, including from semantic ‘gold’ data layers, and occasionally prototyping ahead of data engineering efforts.
• Optimize Tableau performance and data refresh schedules to ensure efficient operation.
• Support other enterprise analytics Tableau users with best-practice guidance and technical expertise.
• Troubleshoot issues with Tableau dashboards and provide timely resolutions.
• Stay updated on Tableau's best practices, new features, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Tableau (or similar BI tool) development
• Proficiency in SQL with a strong understanding of database concepts.
• Experience in data visualization and dashboard design principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Tableau Desktop/Server certifications are a plus.
