Job Description

As a SEO Manager at Belkin, you will be responsible for managing Belkin.com online platform SEO and customer group management in order to achieve sales target in a profitable business model. You will be managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, optimizing site architecture, and Belkin.com's keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search engines. They will identify growth opportunities across content, keywords, and UX optimization and work with cross functional teams to implement strategy. Target oriented, logically data driven with passion in your expertise as well as our products is a must for this role. You will also need to work with cross functional team such as sales, marketing, consumer digital engagement, finance or even supply chain team to achieve the goal.

Our hybrid work model allows you to work from home and take advantage of our brand-new HQ in El Segundo at any time. Most likely, you'll work from your home most of the time and come to the office to use our equipment and meet with the team. Many of us spend 2-3 days in the office per week.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Own and manage Belkin.com's SEO strategy, including planning, implementation, and ongoing optimizations and serve as a point of contact for SEO matters.
  • Accountable for SEO initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions, that deliver results for Belkin.com online sales.
  • Plan, develop, present, and implement SEO strategy and tactics to achieve success.
  • Work toward organic search optimization and ROI maximization.
  • Regularly perform thorough keyword research and website crawls.
  • Ideate content and page UX based upon keyword research to improve conversion rate (i.e., conversation rate optimization, CRO).
  • Write articles and blog posts to drive traffic from organic search and build relevancy for the Belkin brand.
  • Leverage SEO tools to measure, track and improve key SEO KPIs and grow our online customer base.
  • Conduct regular SEO audits to assess the impact of current strategies and website changes.
  • Lead a regular cadence of monitoring site performance across analytics, weekly crawls, alerts, Google Search Console, and rank tracking.
  • Prepare and present SEO reports regularly to Belkin.com and Digital Marketing cross-functional teams to ensure roadmaps stay aligned with core business objectives.
  • Systematically review and optimize all on-page content and metatags to improve organic traffic sitewide.
  • Develop strategies to better target identified persona audiences.
  • Identify problems and deficiencies and implement solutions in a timely manner.
  • Suggest improvements in process and productivity optimization to the Belkin.com department.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Belkin.com, digital marketing, web development team and vendors and prioritize SEO work appropriately.
  • Stay up to date with the latest search engine algorithms, SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices and communicate important updates to internal teams.
  • Assist global teams with SEO efforts as needed. Collaborate with international partners on content localization and keyword research.
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  • Work with the Web Product Manager and Development team to implement SEO best practices across site architecture, internal linking, and subdomains.
  • Work with Virtual Merchandise and Copy teams to implement a robust keyword strategy across commerce pages and the Belkin blog.
  • Track competitive landscape and conduct market audits to identify search trends and opportunities.
  • Attend product and engineering meetings to monitor ongoing and upcoming releases for SEO impact.
  • Support release of new content by making basic CMS updates as-needed.
  • Develop arguments and projections to help drive project prioritization.
  • Analyze and develop reporting on SEO performance.
  • Work with PR and Affiliate teams to ensure quality backlinks to Belkin.com to improve authority scores.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience
  • 3+ years experience doing on-page and off-page SEO with larger, eCommerce sites (sites with 1000+ URLs)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven success in SEO with the ability to showcase tangible results
  • Proficiency in creating traffic driving content and copywriting is highly desired
  • Technical SEO experience is preferred
  • Ability to analyze and present SEO performance to stakeholders
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Goole Search Console
  • Proficiency with SEO tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMRush or SEO Moz
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to help grow the Belkin.com team
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment while focusing on the delivery of results for Belkin.com
  • Willingness to adapt and motivation to learn the latest technologically and strategies
  • Experience in Consumer Electronics or mobile accessories is a plus
  • Deep knowledge and experience in SEO ranking algorithms and how search engines crawl, render, index, and rank pages
  • Knowledge in all aspects of SEO, including site architecture, on-page user experience, keywords, internal linking, and metadata
  • Desire to stay up-to-date with emerging and changing trends and best practices
  • Familiar with paid search strategies (e.g., Google Ads)
  • Experience working in an agile environment a plus

Range for this position:

$90,000 - $110,000

Factors such as geographic location, academic credentials, relevant experience, and specific knowledge, skills and abilities will influence the actual salary offered.
