We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Specialist to join our US Marketing Communications Team in Indianapolis, Indiana! What You'll Do:

  • Implement organic social media campaigns to drive product awareness, brand affinity, thought leadership, customer care, and community engagement
  • Work alongside our Marketing Communications team and creative resources in the development of engaging content
  • Help build relationships with influencers and key audiences, including farmers, media, agriculture associations, crop protection retailers, and advocates
  • Listen and respond to social media conversations and draw insights from broader conversations about our industry and other focus areas
  • Assist in efforts to analyze, report, and recommend improvements to social media strategy and implementation to meet the demands of an evolving landscape
  • Collaborate with others within US Marketing to establish and oversee a calendar of compelling content for distribution on the US commercial social media channels

Qualifications

Education:

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field

What Skills You Need:

  • You possess a minimum of three (3) years of social media management experience, with a record of developing and implementing social media strategies and integrated campaigns in collaboration with multiple stakeholders, preferably within a medium-to-large organization or agency
  • Proficiency with social media management and listening tools such as Sprout Social and others
  • Proficiency building reports using data from social media channels and other sources required to constantly improve our channels
  • You possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet aggressive deadlines
  • You are comfortable with technology and possess excellent computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company-specific applications as required
  • You are an effective communicator and have proven experience working successfully within a fast paced, detail orientated, and team environment

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Previous experience in "paid" social media
  • Previous knowledge and experience within the Agricultural industry

Work Authorization & Relocation:

  • A relocation package is not offered for this position

Flexible (may work 1-4 days at home per week):

  • This role can accommodate a flexible work arrangement where you may work multiple days a week from home
