Role Summary:

Technology Software Engineer needed to assist in development efforts for large team working on project and maintenance activities. The candidate should have experience configuring, extending, and supporting financial systems.

Responsibilities:

The candidate should also have development experience with industry leading programming languages like C#, Java or Python and Object-Oriented Programming Concepts, Database Programming using SQL and PL/SQL, including developing stored procedures, database triggers and database packages. A willingness to work in a fluid environment with high adaptability to change is a must for this position. The candidate should also be able to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams with direction from senior management. Solid verbal and written communication skills are required for this position.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of software development experience following enterprise standards• 2+ years of programming experience in a modern language such as Java, Python or C#• 2+ years of experience with web technologies such as Restful Services, JavaScript• Working knowledge of Iridium Backstage for reconciliation and ETL

• Solid programming and scripting skills in one of the following Java, Python or C# (.Net).• Cloud experience, preferably in Amazon Web Services (AWS).• Familiarity in distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms and databases.• Full life-cycle software development in a enterprise environment.• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel on a regular basis.• Must possess organizational, problem-solving and time management skills and be able to meet deadlines consistently.• Effective verbal and written communicator, able to adapt delivery style and language to suit the audience.• Exposure the RDBMS based databases such as Oracle and SQL Server / NoSQL DBs such as DynamoDB will be preferable.• Experience with change management including software release deployment processes.

• Support systems that integrate with existing enterprise applications, front to back legacy platforms.• Works with cross-functional teams while developing, debugging, and releasing code.• Ensures on-time delivery of owned features from design and implementation through production after care support and maintenance.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education or experience. • Certifications in AWS Cloud Practitioner/Developer and Object-Oriented Programming languages.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $94K - $121K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
