Sr Manager of V-BAT Fulfillment and Repair (R2627)
Job Description:
The Manager of V-BAT Fulfillment and Repair will establish and lead a V-BAT product fulfillment organization which supports finished goods final configuration, Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) maintenance/repair/overhaul, system shipping, and inventory & maintenance administrative management.
What You'll Do:
- Establish and lead a new organization which provides properly configured UAS hardware in a standardized delivery pack-up to internal and external customers.
- Oversee finished goods configuration management & inventory control, sales-order fulfillment, maintenance/repair/overhaul of finished goods and company owned hardware, and global shipping of V-BAT Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).
- Coordinate closely with Quality to ensure product conformance to established standards.
- Lead and manage multiple projects at one time.
- Develop scalable processes to meet customer service standards in a rapidly growing business.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery quality, product conformance, and customer delight.
- Staff and train the subordinate organizations with sufficient qualified personnel to support the throughput of product delivery.
- Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to the subordinate organization in the accomplishment of their tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
- Project/Program Management experience, including managing schedules, budget, resources, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with aviation maintenance and operations, including coordinating work across multiple departments.
- Significant experience and excellent skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent skills in leadership, time management, organization, team management.
- Ability to run advanced projects/programs consisting of multiple interrelated projects, in a manner that is largely self-directed.
- Excellent verbal and written ability.
- A demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding self and others to high standards, and being kind to others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
- Previous leadership experience with a military maintenance organization
- Experience in field of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)
