Positioned at the heart of our Digital Marketing Organization, The Experience Strategy Team is looking for an innovative and talented user experience manager to help measure, optimize and create innovative, modern, and engaging user experiences for investors visiting our retail owned digital channels, like www.Schwab.com. The team is passionate about cutting edge digital strategies, healthy and scalable design systems, unstuffy content that incites action, innovative ideas and research, and tailored consulting and support to collaborating creative teams and marketers.
- Digital Design Consulting:
- You have a proven ability to create design solutions and arrive at decisions that are grounded in UX/UI best practices.
- You actively participate in design reviews and thoughtfully consider how to be effective and deliver transformative, consumer-first experiences that are scalable and cohesive across our digital marketing owned channels.
- You have experience implementing design solutions in accordance with a design system within a Content Management System (Drupal a plus).
- Digital Design Management:
- You will support the implementation of components and usage guidelines to ensure information is accurate, useful, and actionable.
- You will partner closely with the broader design system team, identifying use cases and validating problems to prioritize new feature development.
- You will support the creation of net new components by advocating for the process, providing feedback and requirements that ensure scalability and longevity.
- Design Expertise and Execution:
- You possess sharp design and technical skills to drive clarity and forward-thinking solutions in complex development and creative scenarios to achieve business goals and the best user experience possible.
- Collaboration:
- You thrive in cross-functional teams of diverse experts and love working closely with developers, designers, content strategists, marketers, and others.
- You enjoy building meaningful connections across partner teams to drive the best results.
What you have
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3-5+ years of digital marketing experience required with formal training in design, content strategy and UX/UI.
- Experience with building and maintaining a Digital Design system. Specific experience with Schwab content management systems (Drupal a plus) either as a Schwab associate or contractor.
- Innate modern aesthetic with an ability to articulate design intent, content strategy, UX/UI best practices, in context of business objectives.
- Expert usage of Figma design tool and ability to pull from various libraries to create comps and prototypes.
Preferred:
- Data driven and analytical focus; ability to drive new thinking and hypothesis, synthesize qualitative and quantitative data, identify feasible options and evaluate strategic trade-offs.
- Highly adaptable, team player with superb verbal and written communication specifically, in framing problems, ability to present options and rationale clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented, organized and methodical approach with an ability to multitask, troubleshoot and coordinate multiple priorities, stakeholders and timelines to successful execution.
- Experience in a financial services or highly-regulated environment is beneficial.
