We are seeking a self-motivated, efficient, and meticulous Warehouse Operator to work in our newest warehouse and production facility in Hatfield,PA. This facility supports our sales efforts out of our North American headquarters in Derry, NH.

Under the supervision of the Logistics Manager, the AutoStore Warehouse Operator’s duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Move freight and stock to and from loading docks, delivery vehicles, storage areas, and production areas either manually or using equipment such pallet jacks or forklift
  • Operate production equipment (E.G.: high speed cutting saw, etc.)
  • Stage products based on orders for production
  • Sort cargo during loading or unloading process and count in/out bound and production orders accurately
  • Stack cargo in specific locations using forklift or pallet jacks
  • Record inventory counts of products in warehouse
  • Assembling portions of robot orders (E.G.: labeling, etc.)
  • Complete shipments by processing, picking, packing, cutting, and building orders
  • Preserve safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat
  • Promote clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Complete reports by entering required information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, individually or as a team
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed

AutoStore provides a competitive benefits package including vacation, health insurance, and retirement plan. This position is a full-time position (32-40 hours per week) and pays $14.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience. This position has the potential for growth within the overall organization.

Warehouse Operator Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must have previous warehouse experience
  • Ability to lift and handle weights over 50 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have CSA steel toe footwear
  • Able to follow instructions and detail oriented
  • Computer literate with basic computer skills
  • Successfully complete a background check and qualified to work in the US
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Time management
  • Good communication skills

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Forklift Certification a plus but not required. Otherwise, Forklift certification within 30 days of job entry date
  • Experience running automated CNC type production equipment a plus but not required. Training will be provided.
