Mental Health Therapist Requirements:

Licensed LICSW, LMFT, LPC, or LP in Washington, DC (required)
Masters or doctorate-level degree in area of practice (required)

Pay: $90-$114 per hour. Pay rates are based on the provider license type and session types

Specifically and intentionally not called an office, the SonderMind Studio is the new collaborative workspace Denver-based staff are welcome to use, along with any staff traveling from across the country. It’s a completely optional and available space for colleagues to schedule in-person meetings, reserve private rooms for interviews or call-based roles, and to gather for after-hours social events. It’s a concept that helps build a sense of physical community while continuing to embrace a fully virtual workforce.

We have an amazing group of employees who are considerate and thoughtful about how to involve people in events, meetings and discussions. We are listening to employees about their wants and needs, and adjusting accordingly.

Finding a therapist is challenging: Navigating insurance coverage, specialties and personalities can be intimidating for patients. But SonderMind’s data analytics team is working to change that. With SonderMind, you get connected with a therapist that meets your criteria for best fit and fast-tracks your therapy journey. To build the robust tool that connects people with mental health care providers, her team leverages Amazon SageMaker, Python and Snowflake, while Udemy subscriptions and developer-led guilds encourage engineers to learn new tech, collaborate, find mentorship and grow careers.

The tools we use at SonderMind are great because they are widely used, easy to adopt and very robust in accomplishing machine learning goals through established and breakthrough approaches.

Take Grace Feldpausch, who started at the company as a member of the inside sales team, gaining insight into the provider experience as they join SonderMind’s network. In working cross-functionally, she soon discovered that working with providers post-sale was what really sparked her interest. When she spoke up about her desire to grow in a new direction, leadership listened and encouraged her to move into a new role as the manager of onboarding coaches, where she can stretch her skills, leverage her prior expertise and focus on her newfound passion.
