How you will impact the organization…

In the Business Development Manager role, you'll work closely with our sales, partner, and growth teams to drive the execution and enhancement of our program. The ideal candidate will bring Partner sales experience, a deep understanding of the IT, Healthcare, and Cloud Services, and exceptional communication skills. This will be managing complex partner relationships that follow many agents and subagents, as well as navigating larger distributors; to partner through the sales process.


The value you will deliver…

  • Collaborate with the sales, partner, and channel teams to execute and continuously enhance the Partner Program framework.
  • Use of Salesforce in sales activities with your various partners
  • Partner Recruitment and Onboarding:  Identify and recruit new channel partners to expand the reach of the program. Develop and execute onboarding processes to ensure new partners are equipped with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed.
  • Training and Enablement: Develop training programs and materials to educate channel partners on product/service offerings, sales strategies, and best practices. Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure partners have the necessary skills and resources to effectively promote and sell products/services.
  • Ensure engagement and training from large partners and distributors that have 200+ sales employees to grow the sales pipeline
  • Engage with partners to generate leads and sales opportunities to be worked with the direct sales team.
  • Maintain and grow existing partner relationships with assigned partners
  • With GTM only 4 months prior, this as-yet determined, secondary duties and responsibilities will surface on an as-needed or as-determined basis, by management.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested. Consensus reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.


What you will bring to the table…

  • 3+  years of experience in channel management and revenue development
  • 2+ years experience in B2B sales
  • 2+ years of experience using Salesforce (or other CRM)
  • 2+ years of experience presenting to department leaders via phone and video conference
  • 1+ years of experience with SaaS &/or UCaaS platforms
  • 3+ years experience with partner management such as MSP, channel, distributors, and indirect sales channels
  • Proficient skills in Salesforce, G-Suite, and Slack.
  • A competitive and collaborative mentality
  • Creative resourcefulness with a persistent drive to exceed quotas
  • Exceptionally strong skills in relationship selling
  • Ability to clearly demonstrate effective business communication skills verbally and in writing to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working within the IT (channel), healthcare, and cloud industry, with healthcare being most desirable.


You will stand out if you also have…

  • 5+ years experience selling in healthcare vertical
  • Experience negotiating and/or working with channel agreements
  • Subject matter expert of technical SaaS platforms with respect to the value proposition
  • Associates or Bachelors in Business or IT


Additional details…

  • Location requirements: Fully remote within the U.S. (Los Angeles, Las Vegas or Braintree, Massachusetts preferred.)
  • Travel requirements: Up to 10% travel 
  • Physical requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods, as well as, handle long periods of screen time
  • Technology requirements: Reliable, high speed internet
  • Eligible for sponsorship: No


The salary range for this role is up to $75,000 USD.  The total compensation package for this position is negotiable and may also include [annual performance bonus, ESPP, enhanced time off packages and benefits.]
