Principal Moogsoft Engineer

Ensures that Dell's Cloud Service delivers the service performance, reliability, and availability expected by our customers and internal client groups. SRE teams are continuously improving the management automation of our Cloud Service, with the objective of enabling industrialized fleet management at scale.

What you'll achieve

As a Principal moogsoft engineer, you will develop and deploy correlation capabilities across Dell Digital. You will work with infrastructure and application teams to deploy moogsoft as a central correlation platform in order to drive operational efficiencies across the entire Dell Digital landscape.

You will:

  • Design and develop data models to support process and data integration
  • Use communication and process skills to understand monitoring alerts/tools to ingest into Event Correlation tool
  • Maintain Moogsoft tool performance in accordance with performance testing baseline
  • Work closely with infrastructure and application stakeholders to enhance moogosft and drive platform adoption
  • Design/implement new system interfaces as the deployment matures and grows

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years' experience designing and implementing solutions leveraging Multiple Monitoring Tools, Moogsoft and ServiceNow
  • 4+ years' experience in IT operations
  • 4+ years' experience with industry-leading observability solutions (Splunk, Dynatrace, DataDog, etc.) to solve complex operational and performance issues
  • 3+ years' experience leading large teams implementing cross-functional observability solutions across application and infrastructure stacks

Desirable Requirements

  • Proficient understanding of ITIL practices
  • Vast knowledge on software configuration management systems
