We are now working toward providing more choices for consumers and a premium, better-than-linear TV brand experience for advertisers. That said, we are looking for founding members who will be instrumental in shaping this new business area for Netflix!


Our Agency Sales team is looking for a unique combination of skills and experience across varying levels dependent on the subject matter expertise and previously owned books of business.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and foster working relationships with key decision makers on both client and agency levels with a focus on Holding Companies and Fortune 500 brands
  • Build on the strengths of the Netflix portfolio of product offerings to close new business while renewing and up-selling existing clients to maximize revenue
  • Prepare proposals and respond to RFP’s with a high degree of professionalism, and quality and in a timely manner
  • Partner with Microsoft, Category teams, and other agency teams to grow revenue across the business 
  • Work with Netflix Ad Sales Product, Marketing, Research, and Revenue Yield Management to ensure that client’s needs are being met
  • Negotiate pricing, advertising placement, content, and event concepts
  • Develop sales strategies and sales plans for assigned accounts
  • Create and deliver powerful and persuasive presentations to clients
  • Prospect, identify, and qualify new clients 
  • Stay current on video advertising trends and innovations
  • The position requires travel based on agency and client location

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of professional experience in the Advertising industry, with at least 2+ years of direct media sales experience managing complex agency relationships 
  • Proven strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and translate it into specific and measurable tactics, actions, and outcomes
  • Highly skilled in negotiating and selling the intrinsic value of a premium offering to customers
  • Problem solver with the ability to collaborate and work across functions
  • Prospecting and cold-calling skills are necessary
  • Understanding of how our clients set priorities and performance goals, and how we can align our product portfolio to best fulfill those needs
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, make decisions, and manage at entrepreneurial speed
  • Strong, confident presentation skills

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $70,000- $420,000. A portion of this compensation is variable.

We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
