Job Title

Engineering Director

Job Description

The Engineering Director delivers program goals by coordinating engineering and cross-functional activities for a given product portfolio, spanning Advanced development, New product introduction as well as Sustaining engineering.

Your role:

  • To plan and execute all cross-functional programs undertaken by the business in a given product portfolio.
  • Coordinate with other leaders in the organization to plan resources and budgets for programs.
  • Provide stakeholders with regular project/program performance status, variances to plan and identification of corrective actions, risks and mitigation plans, etc.
  • Manage a team of program/project managers and lead them in state of art program management practices.
  • Keep up-to-date with technical basics and new technology, in order to optimize the goals of each project and maximize synergy between the projects.

You're the right fit if:

  • You've acquired 10+ years of experience in leadership positions in Engineering and/or Program/project management during which you've worked on all aspects of product lifecycle
  • You have experience directly managing people
  • You have demonstrated experience managing complex programs
  • Prior medical product development and 510k experience is preferred
  • You have a Master's degree or equivalent in an Engineering and/or business discipline or alike experience
  • You have the ability to manage stakeholders and build/lead global teams
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
