We are seeking an experienced leader to drive reliability and maintenance programs across nineteen manufacturing sites to enhance OEE. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for leading the Division's Progressive and Autonomous Maintenance program and driving reliability into equipment design and startup. The ideal person has spent considerable time in manufacturing operations and has a passion for technical problem solving.

What you'll do for us:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive reliability and maintenance strategy in collaboration with operations, engineering, and maintenance team.
  • Accelerate implementation of predictive and preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and reduce unplanned downtime. Oversee all aspects and expansions of SAP-PM to derive further value.
  • Establish and drive autonomous maintenance program to reduce stops and improve OEE.
  • Establish and drive Equipment Reliability program to ensure that equipment design and startup delivers high OEE.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to set strategies to source reliable spare parts and optimize inventory management.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track reliability metrics, such as mean time between failures (MTBF), mean time to repair (MTTR), and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Identify and deploy tools to help manage maintenance budget, allocate resources effectively, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Foster a culture of reliability excellence by providing training, mentorship, and guidance to operations and engineering teams.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in reliability engineering.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in maintenance and reliability engineering, with at least 3 years leading teams.
  • Experience in a manufacturing operations environment implementing TPM, especially Autonomous and Progressive Maintenance, is essential.
  • A track record of implementing successful reliability programs in equipment design and start-up is highly desirable. Certification in reliability engineering (e.g., CMRP, CRE) is a plus.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus

Location: Atlanta, Ballina, Costa Rica or other location in Americas and Europe
