Joining Collibra’s Brand team

The Video Manager sits on the Brand team, within the Global Marketing organization, and is responsible for developing and managing Collibra’s compelling, unique and effective video content.

This innovative video manager will apply their in-depth experience in all aspects of video content development and production along with their keen sense for how media can be leveraged to increase prospect/customer engagement and education, and help drive revenue.
To do this, you'll be counted on to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders across Corporate and Product Marketing, Digital / Web, Global Demand Center, Marketing Operations, Global Events, Communications and Public Relations, Social Media, as well as with agencies and vendors to understand and communicate how video content can provide the most value to the business. You are thoughtful and collaborative with strong project management skills.

The Video Manager at Collibra is responsible for:

  • Executing all aspects of digital video production, including story concepting, providing guidance on scripting/timing, overseeing shooting/desktop recording, editing, creating graphics and other effects, incorporating sound, music and photographs for production for various types of video content including: product demos, animated overviews, customer and partner testimonials, events montages, corporate brand, blog post videos 
  • Collaborating with leaders and peers to understand brand, subject matter, and project goals, helping to strategically shape and develop fresh, modern, and sophisticated video content
  • Aligning with existing design systems, corporate and product messaging, creative standards, and strategic business objectives and evolving videos to remain relevant and competitive in the market 
  • Managing multiple Asana tasks and production time to deliver completed video content on schedule; managing agencies/vendors as needed for filming and production 
  • Finalizing video files, handling delivery, managing video platform uploads and performance reporting, and maintaining digital archive; helping to manage the organization of creative files and assets to enable accessibility and governance 

You have:

  • 8+ years of relevant professional video experience with high proficiency in all aspects of video creation and demonstrated awareness of emerging technology, media, and digital platforms 
  • Experience developing deliverables for multi-channel campaigns, from web videos to tradeshow booth monitors, preferably in the B2B tech industry
  • Expert level proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite video products (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects & Audition); solid understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Expert knowledge of video production equipment, video artistic styles, techniques, methodologies, effects, file structures, web formats and best video compression practices for online distribution
  • A digital portfolio demonstrating innovative, compelling video work and broad experience in advertising, brand, and integrated multi-channel campaigns (link to portfolio is required)
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Highly collaborative, able to work across teams and with external vendors/agencies while ensuring alignment and brand consistency 
  • A strong communicator with the ability to comfortably and professionally interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization to keep all projects on track and communicate project status with requesters, stakeholders, your manager and your team 
  • Customer-focused, applying empathy and design thinking principles to optimize customer experiences and improve conversion with data-driven decisions 
  • Always learning; seeking out industry trends, best practices, and staying aware of the competition’s marketing efforts to keep our video content fresh and competitive 

Measures of success are:

Within your first month, you will…

  • Learn about Collibra, our brand, the customer experience, the tools, systems, and processes within the Collibra Marketing team, and be introduced to the right people
  • Get up-to-speed on our creative work and begin contributing, including a full understanding and management of the creative intake process in Asana

Within your third month you will...

  • Alongside manager, advance brand strategy and lead creative video direction
  • Own the video strategy, contributing to evolving the existing plan, executing on the strategy and ensuring all channels and departments are working towards the same vision
  • Manage the video platform and YouTube channel

Within your sixth month, you will…

  • Contribute to defining how video initiatives and assets connect to business objectives, defining standard metrics for measuring success and providing regular report updates 

Compensation for this role 

The standard base salary range for this position is $96,000 - $120,000 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.

In addition to base salary, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
