Job Purpose

The Project Manager will manage medium to large projects, proof of concepts (POC), pilots and related projects that include network, circuit connectivity, and digital signage deployments. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required to be successful in this role. The PM will oversee multiple groups and guide the deployment from inception of signed SOW to majority completion of the installations. The role requires a broad understanding of how a Managed Service organization operates and how workflows affect teams, both up and down stream within workflow. This individual will be expected to work independently, with minimal guidance or direction.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated leadership ability to guide teams and projects to desired outcomes
  • Able to manage cross-functional groups and ensure cooperation between the groups
  • Demonstrated customer presentation skills
  • Slide creation and ability to present to Executive level stakeholders
  • Engage IT and Engineering development for projects as needed
  • Work on complex pricing and system setups, including ERNs, parts and bill of material (BoM) setup with the National Logistics Center (NLC)
  • Option/Template creation by project, including proper pricing and tasks
  • Work on new product rollouts to ensure proper support across all groups
  • Ensure all pre-rollout documentation is present before POC/pilot/rollout kickoffs
  • Setup and manage internal and customer facing weekly status meetings
  • Provide weekly status on project activities
  • Manage action Items and risk logs
  • Create a project plan outlining the tasks required with pre-requisites defined and timelines
  • Create new customer network IDs
  • Customer set up with SageNet systems
  • Train customers on access and use of customer accessible SageNet systems
  • Ensure invoicing is accurate monthly and all applicable charges exist
  • Ensure creation of all documentation needed for install visits as part of the Pilot or initial Rollout
  • Work with the Engineering, IT and NOC groups to set up monitoring for new customers
  • Includes an understanding of the various monitoring systems and what can be monitored by system

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of equivalent work experience
  • PMP certification strongly desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership abilities across multiple teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple client implementations throughout their duration
  • Documentation management and ability to use project management tools.
  • Experience in Salesforce, SAP and or other ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with focus on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Working Conditions

  • Productively work in a hybrid work environment which consists of 2 mandatory "all-in" days, 1 variable day, and 2 virtual days. Hybrid work environment is applied per position/department and may be subject to change per changes in the Policy.

Physical Requirements

  • Be able to sit for long periods of time without problem
  • Extensive use of fingers and hands for typing
  • Extensive use of eyes to be able to analyze documents electronically and physically for long periods of time
