Position Overview

As the Sr Manager, Channel Sales at Autodesk, your primary objective will be to lead a team of partner professionals, create relationships with key partners and drive revenue growth. You will develop strategies to expand our revenue with existing Autodesk channel ecosystem partners as Autodesk evolves to a platform organization.

You will report to the Senior Director of AMER Channel Sales.

Location: remote United States

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of channel professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to lead team performance and achieve channel sales objectives
  • Set clear sales targets, tracking and evaluating partner and team performance
  • Provide mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members
  • Develop channel strategies to increase revenue, market penetration, and partner satisfaction, with an emphasis on new and expansion growth
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners and team to track performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and driveaccountability
  • Develop partner's evolution to expanding the Autodesk solutions with value added professional and consulting services, and IP development
  • Evaluate partner alignment with our business objectives and ensuring a mutually beneficial partnership
  • You will build strong relationships with core partners and be a trusted advisor and advocating for the partner's voice internally, advocating for their needs and feedback to improve our products, services, and partner programs
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop the partner management strategy, ensuring alignment with our goals
  • Collaborate with teams, including sales, marketing, and product, to align partner initiatives with business objectives
  • Analyze partner performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize partner performance
  • Maintain partner management processes and tools to streamline operations and enhance efficiency
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics within the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AECo) and Design and Manufacturing industries

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in channel sales, business development, or partner management, with a focus on SaaS/Cloud and channel management
  • 5+ years experience with leading and managing channel teams, with a proven track record of successfully driving team performance and achieving sales objectives
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience with existing Autodesk partners (DMR partners such as CDW, SHI, Insight is desirable)
  • Direct sales experience
  • Ability to travel ~20%.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $224,700 and $325,270. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries and/or OTE for sales roles, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
