They will collaborate with vendors and technicians to ensure successful equipment designs and implementation. The Senior Battery Design Engineer will be responsible for the mechanical design and validation of lithium-ion cells in pouch and prismatic can formats. They will work closely with a cross-functional R&D team to incorporate advancements into product design changes, conduct design validation testing, and communicate results to the team and partners.

The Process Engineer – Cell Manufacturing will be responsible for troubleshooting and improving electrode casting and unit cell assembly processes. They will conduct engineering trials, manage continuous improvement projects, and work closely with quality teams and equipment vendors to develop new processes and equipment for battery manufacturing. The role also involves creating and maintaining standard operating procedures for manufacturing processes.

Provide quality assurance support to production line ensuring product meets specifications, develop quality inspection tools, analyze data for continuous improvement, lead ISO certification, manage non-conforming products, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
